Our Wedding Location
Directions
|
Duncan Hall
Our wedding and reception are both being held in historic
Duncan Hall located in downtown Lafayette, Indiana. The
picture to the left shows the entrance of Duncan Hall from
Ferry Street. The maid of honor, Christina, suggested having
the wedding and reception in Duncan Hall. After touring
it once, we knew it fit our tastes perfectly.

Ballroom
The ballroom will be used for the ceremony
and reception. The acoustics in the ballroom of Duncan Hall
are magnificent, which was a big selling point on the location
to music-minded Christina. The afternoon sun shines through
the large windows on both sides of the ballroom. The picture
to the right was taken from the back of the ballroom showing
the front of the ballroom. |

Parlors
Several parlors will be available for relaxing
between the ceremony and reception. Shown to the left is a
picture of the Thomas Duncan Room. It has a fireplace and
oak panelled walls. There is another parlor on the first floor
called the Gertrude Shambaugh room which is in an English-style.
Two more parlors are located on the second-floor, the Mary
Haywood Room and the Alder Room. |
Foyer
Just inside the front entrance of Duncan Hall is a beautiful
foyer. Marble floors and walnut paneled walls decorate the
foyer as shown in the picture to the right.

Secret Garden
Hidden inside Duncan Hall lies the Secret Garden. It boasts
beautiful flowers, wrought-iron arch, water fountain, and
goldfish pond. The picture on the left was taken in early
April, so if you use your imagination, you can see all the
pretty flowers in bloom. |
