Bride's Biography

Christina

Basics
Hello!! I'm Christina Hall, the bride, official wedding coordinator, and webmistress for our wedding website. (Can you say Jack of all trades but the master of none?) I was born on July 19, 1980. My hometown is Peru, Indiana. If it sounds familiar, either you've passed by it on your way to somewhere else or you've heard of it for the amateur circus. I was a 1998 graduate from Peru High School. In May 2002, I graduated with distinction from Purdue University with a major in computer technology. The emphasis of my studies was information systems. I will be starting my career in August 2002 with Eli Lilly & Company in Indianapolis, Indiana. My starting position will be as a data analyst for their e-business presence. Translated from techie into English, I will be designing databases for Lilly's marketing-type websites.

My Hobbies
I was involved with Purdue's Symphonic Band for my entire four-year college career. I played the bass clarinet, and, from time to time, the BB-flat and E-flat contrabass clarinets. To the right is a picture of me playing bass clarinet my senior year at Purdue. To the bottom left side is a picture of Christina and I after a concert with the BB-flat (bigger one) and the E-flat contrabass clarinets. I also have played the bass guitar for about 9 years. I'm a Beatlemaniac and collect various Beatle-related books and collectibles. I also enjoy reading, primarily fiction, but I'll read about anything in a pinch. Water sports, particularly water-skiing, are my summer past-time. I've been water-skiing since I was 13. I'm also a movie buff and enjoy going to the movie theater and watching movies on DVD, especially with Kris. Some of my favorite movies now include: Moulin Rouge, Gone in 60 Seconds, The Fellowship of the Ring, Gone with the Wind, and the North and South series

Christina & Christina with Contras On the Wedding
I am very excited about geting married. I'm not really nervous at all...yet! Even though Kris and I have been together for over 7 years now, his proposal came as a complete surprise to me. When Kris first proposed, I knew absolutely nothing about putting together a wedding or even where to start. Luckily, after reading a huge pile of wedding magazines, books, and planners, I have a much better idea of what goes into planning a wedding. I can only hope that Kris won't mind my lack of cooking skills; I'm a techie not a cook.
